Making space for what is
What if you didn't have to change how you feel right now?
In this creative workshop, we will explore acceptance through air-dry clay. We will use the
material to give form to something that is present in our experience: a thought, emotion,
sensation or situation—and gently explore what it means to allow it to exist without immediately
trying to fix, suppress or push it away.
Rather than changing what we create, we will experiment with making space for it. Through
shaping, holding and creating a place for our experience, we will explore the difference between
accepting something and giving up on it, and between allowing something to be present and
agreeing with it.
There is nothing you need to solve, and no particular feeling you need to find. You are invited to
work with whatever feels present for you at this moment.
What we'll explore
🌻 What it means to accept an experience without judging it
🌻 Noticing our impulses to resist, suppress or change what we feel
🌻 The difference between acceptance and resignation
🌻 Making space for thoughts, emotions and experiences without needing to resolve them
🌻 How we might relate to difficult experiences with less struggle
What to expect
A gentle, guided creative experience using air-dry clay, combined with moments of quiet
reflection and optional sharing.
You don't need to be an artist or have any experience with clay.
There is no right or wrong way to create, and you don't need to explain or share what your work represents.
You don't have to change what is here.
Notice it. Give it form. Make space for it. Let it be.

Meet the facilitators:
🌻 I’m Pamela. A visual designer and illustrator by profession, and an (art) maker by
heart. I believe that we are all here to create — and that everyone is creative. Creativity
isn’t reserved for artists; it is a natural way of making sense of the world, expressing
what words sometimes cannot, and imagining what could be.
Since I can remember, creative expression has been the way I processed my emotions
and navigated the challenges I had to endure. Through art, I could dream of a better
future, imagine possibilities, and keep myself grounded. I didn’t know it then, but this
seemingly simple habit became an important part of how I cared for myself and stayed
mentally grounded.
To this day, creative expression remains my go-to in my pursuit of healing and joy.
Creating something — anything — can be a powerful form of self-discovery and, for me,
one of the best kinds of therapy there is.
🌻 My name is Halima, with African and Arabian roots, freedom has always been an
important value and an inner compass in my life. Always drawn to learning, exploring
and discovering new ways of seeing the world. Along the way, I had the privilege of
calling many beautiful places home. Living across different countries and cultures has
taught me to appreciate the many ways people experience life, connect with each other,
and make sense of the world. This too has shaped me into the person I am today.
Creativity and movement are also an important part of how I work with my therapy and
coaching clients. I aim to create a safe, open space where people can reconnect with
themselves, move at their own pace, and gently find their way from feeling
overwhelmed towards greater balance, freedom, and self-regulation.
