Workshop ‘From Thinking to Feeling’ An exploration of different forms of intimacy
Do you often find yourself thinking about connection instead of actually feeling it?
We spend so much time analysing ourselves, our relationships and how we are perceived. But intimacy doesn’t begin in the mind. It begins in the body-in our ability to notice, listen, respond and be present.
From Thinking to Feeling is a 2.5-hour experiential workshop exploring the many ways intimacy can exist- with yourself, your body and the people around you.
Intimacy is not only romantic or sexual. It can be found in silence, movement, eye contact, laughter, honest expression, a clear boundary or the feeling of being fully received.
Through embodiment, movement, conscious connection and playful relational practices, we will explore what happens when we stop trying to understand connection and allow ourselves to experience it.
This is not about forcing closeness. It is about becoming more aware of what allows connection to arise organically.
What to expect
- Grounding and embodiment practices to bring you out of your mind and into your body
- Movement and somatic release to awaken sensation and aliveness
- Nonverbal exercises exploring presence and connection
- Conscious listening and authentic expression
- Playful relational practices
- Optional, consent-led exercises involving proximity or touch
We will keep some of the journey a surprise, allowing you to meet each experience in the moment rather than preparing for it with the mind.
What you may take from the experience
- A deeper connection with your body and the present moment
- Greater awareness of your boundaries, needs and natural responses
- More ease and confidence in connecting with others
- A broader understanding of intimacy beyond romance or sexuality
- A renewed sense of curiosity, sensitivity and aliveness
Is this workshop for me?
This workshop welcomes complete beginners as well as people already familiar with embodiment, consciousness or Tantra.
You can come alone or together. You do not need to bring a partner.
The workshop is fully clothed and nonsexual. Every practice is optional, and touch only happens with clear mutual consent. You can pause, observe or change your mind at any moment.
Nothing is forced. Your boundaries are part of the experience.
Meet your facilitator
Joy is an Ibiza-based Tantra teacher and embodiment facilitator with a background in social work and luxury hospitality.
Her work combines breathwork, nervous-system awareness, movement, Kundalini Yoga and conscious relating. She brings depth into a grounded and practical setting, creating experiences that feel accessible to beginners while still offering meaningful exploration for those with more experience.
Her intention is not to tell people how connection should feel, but to create the conditions in which they can discover it for themselves.
