What better way to start your weekend than moving your body, stretching, breathing deeply, dancing and taking some time for yourself?

Join me on Saturday morning at the beautiful La Curandera in Ibiza for a New Moon morning combining Cacao Ritual, Five Elements Dance, conscious breathwork, meditation and intention setting.

We’ll begin by sitting together around Ceremonial Cacao and opening the space with a cacao ritual.

Cacao has been part of my work and personal practice for more than 10 years. I love working with it as a way to slow down, come into the body and open the heart before moving into deeper practices.

We will take the time to drink the cacao consciously, connect with its taste, its warmth and its effects in the body, and begin to turn our attention inward. I’ll guide you through a short meditation and we’ll open the morning together before moving into dance.

Then we’ll get up and start moving.

I’ll guide you through a Five Elements Dance, travelling progressively through each element and using its different qualities to explore the body:

🌿 Earth to ground, stretch, feel our feet and reconnect with our physical body.

💧 Water to soften, bring fluidity into the hips and spine and allow the body to move more freely.

🔥 Fire to build energy, activate our strength and vitality and let the dance become more powerful.

🌬️ Air to open the chest, the arms and the breath, creating more space in the body.

✨ Ether to gradually slow down, move inward and arrive in a more receptive state.

From there, we’ll move into conscious breathwork, allowing the breath to take us a little deeper before finishing with our New Moon ritual and intentions.

This New Moon in Virgo is particularly connected to the body, our routines, our habits, our wellbeing and the practical things we want to change or reorganise in our lives. It invites us to come back to what is essential and become clearer about where we want to put our energy next.

Rather than sitting down at the beginning and trying to decide everything from the mind, we’ll first drink cacao, move, dance, breathe and feel. Then, once the body has had space to express itself and the mind has become quieter, we’ll take time to listen to what has emerged and set our intentions for this new cycle.

It’s a morning to reconnect with yourself, release tension, move your energy, breathe more deeply, open your heart and start the weekend feeling grounded, alive, open and energised.
