Ceremonial Cacao Journey / Cacao Ceremony / Mayan Wisdom / Ancestors

Sobre este evento

For the first time on their European tour, Tata Walter, Mayan spiritual guide and Day Keeper of the Kaqchikel Nation of Guatemala, and Florencia Fridman, co-founder of Cacao Laboratory, are bringing their ancestral teachings to Amsterdam.

Join us for an evening dedicated to ceremonial cacao and its place within the Maya tradition.

We'll share a cup of ceremonial cacao while exploring its history, physical and energetic qualities, and the sacred role it has held within the Mayan cosmovision for generations. Through stories, symbolism, and ancestral teachings, you'll be invited to experience cacao beyond its growing popularity in the modern wellness world and reconnect with the cultural roots from which this tradition comes.

The evening concludes with a guided meditation, creating space to integrate the teachings and deepen your connection with yourself through this sacred plant.

For those wishing to continue the experience, the following day offers a full immersive journey into the wisdom of the sacred Mayan calendar, personal Nahuals, ceremonial cacao, and ancestral practices.

During the evening you'll explore:
• The physical and energetic benefits of ceremonial cacao
• The history of cacao and its sacred role within the Maya tradition
• The stories and symbolism connecting cacao to the Mayan cosmovision
• The spiritual teachings carried through this ancestral plant medicine
• A guided meditation for reflection and integration

Optional private session

Following the ceremony, Florencia will also offer Sip & Reflect - a private 60-minute session to explore a personal intention, dream, challenge, or life transition while working with ceremonial cacao.

Only two private sessions are available during this visit.
