🌞 About the gathering:
For this year’s summer solstice, Tania and Zahira will be creating a witches cauldron in Barcelona, on the last day before summer, to weave Womb Wisdom from an ancient source that is calling our name.
“Matriarchy” is a word on many lips, a deep desire calling from the depths of our souls. But rarely do we get to sit with where it actually lives in our bodies; in the source of all life, creativity, and creation—the sacral womb space.
With the moon in Virgo and the dreamy Cancer season upon us, together we will create a container for emerging grief from the lingering wounds of patriarchy while clearing the space for the necessary magic and ceremony to birth Matriarchy into being.
We will be using ancient somatic technology in a ritualistic setting:
Touch, breath, voice, movement, ritual, and somatic Imagination.
🌞 About the space holders:
Zahira and Tania have been weaving magic together for
the last three years. What started as creative activism—grief writing circles, open mics, publications, and embodiment workshops—quickly turned into a deeper question:
We know what we’re fighting against, but do we know what we are working towards?
Their work is a meeting point of their common interests: Liberation Psychology, systems thinking, and ritual.
Their shared ethos includes: Queerness, intersectional feminism, matriarchal leadership, anti-racism, decoloniality, co-creation, embodiment.
🌞 About Zahira:
Zahira Mous (she/they) (1984) is a Frisian-born dance artist, women’s groups facilitator, alchemist, writer and performer whose life’s work bridges embodied healing, the arts, and social justice.
With a background in dance theater, somatic facilitation, and feminist community organizing, her mission centers on liberating women through movement, creativity, and truth-telling. She is the founder of Moons And Magdalenes, a mystery creation school for the embodied creatrix.
🌞 About Tania:
Tania is a somatic practitioner, writer, educator, and the founder of The Deep Knowing; a somatic liberation practice and knowledge hub that calls for the decentralization of power and authority by reclaiming it in the mind-body-soul access.
Tania weaves her Lebanese, Turkic, and Slavic roots, and her multi-cultural upbringing, into her practice. She draws from Indigenous and ancestral knowledge, lived experience, and peer-reviewed research.
